I read Einstein’s biography. I would definitely recommend this book, as it is truely inspiring, provides context for Einstein’s discoveries and presents various interesting events from Einstein’s life.
The book was truely inspiring
His grit, determination and perseverence make you want to start learning physics yourself. Apart from his intellect/IQ, work was the necessary component that led to his achievements. I was impressed by how productive he was and by his passion toward his work.
Relevant context for Einstein’s discoveries finally connected the dots
Having the physical concepts put into perspective was truely enriching. Even though one of my physics uni courses tackled most of the topics mentioned in the book, I was unaware of the relevance and the importance of Einstein’s discoveries. I wish I had known this before/during that physics class, as it would have made soldiering through the equations a little bit easier (and enjoyable).
I think that we should appreciate more what the great minds of this world were able to achieve. After all, we have to remember that we are sitting on the soldiers of giants.
